Can you believe it has been 24 years since San Jose Speedway closed? How 'bout 22 years for West Capital or 13 years for Baylands Raceway Park? It has already been 11years for Ascot Park. What is on the site of these former tracks? Not much for the most part and it's a shame to see 'em go for no reason....

Boy I sure could go for a classic Rick Martin, Chuck Miller battle on the dry slicky at San Jose Fairgrounds Speedway or better yet a 3 lap dash with Kaeding, Rescino, Sargent, Viel going for a hundred bucks and a couple of points to the delight of the fans....
