Quotes
Steve Kinser
"We've always run good here-I don't really know why. We've run good ever since we started racing here in the late '70s. I've always enjoyed running here, but I don't know. . .we need to get these ski jumps (banking for the quarter-mile inner oval) off the front stretch. You have to try to time the lapped cars so that you catch them coming out of the corners, then you can make a move on them. Starting on the outside was the place to be here. With the gear that we have to run you get a little bogged down on the inside, plus it was a little slick down there tonight, so it worked out well that we got the outside front row. We just have to keep running well, and not get injured or anything like that. Scott Gerkin, and the guys on both of these teams do a great job. We started out the year to win another championship, so we just have to keep it going."
