Quotes: Danny Lasoski
“I thought I was pretty quick on the top when I got by (Tim) Kaeding, but then I saw the King sneaking up on the bottom side, and I got running really good down there in 3&4, and on the top in 1&2. I’m just glad to see all these people out here in the stands—it’s been a long time since we’ve been to Wichita. I have to thank my car owner Tony Stewart for giving me everything I need to run this deal, JD Byrider, Home Depot, and Mopar have been great for us, and next year we have the big mouth bass—Bass Pro Shops coming on board. Kistler Engines, Eagle Chassis, and Hoosier Tires do the job for us, and I really have to thank my guys. I’ve got the best crew chief in the business with Jimmy Carr, and Todd Splain and Mike Kuemper. We’ve been struggling here the last month, but these guys never gave up on me, and I’m really proud of that.”
