Five Have a Shot at Placerville Speedway Sprint title By Bill Sullivan - PLACERVILLE, CA (8 17-02)- The 2002 Hoosier Racing Tires championship season is down to just three remaining races and the division title is far from decided as five different drivers vie for the title in the Pacific Sprint division in one of the tightest point races in recent track history. This Saturday night the battle begins with the first of three remaining rounds of championship point racing with the 13th event of the season. Leading the field of drivers contesting for the championship title is Greg DeCaires of Elk Grove. Jimmy Trulli, Mike Henry, David Robinson Jr., and Vern Morrison are also alive in the quest for the title. (read the whole deal)
