Hodnett Wins Gumout Race at Williams Grove MECHANICSBURG, PA (August 23) – Greg Hodnett, who beat the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series’ best in the Cleveland Brothers Summer Nationals July 27th, won the World of Outlaws Gumout Series race at Williams Grove Speedway Friday. Hodnett, the 1993 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year, took the lead from Gumout Series points leader Tyler Walker during the 15th lap and led the second half of the race for the victory. Lance Dewease finished in second place, ahead of Cris Eash, Don Kreitz, Jr., Keith Kauffman, Brian Paulus, Sean Michael, Mark Smith, Jason Sides and Len Thompson.
The Gumout Series race rescheduled for Thursday was postponed due to rain and will be run Saturday. The event was originally scheduled for April 27th.
