...It was good to see Shane Anderson over the weekend at the Bradway race. Anderson who spent previous seasons traveling as a wrench for Donny Schatz, is now settled in as the mechanic for Jimmy Carter. Carter is the 2002 Skagit Speedway sprint car champion that adds class to a field of teams.

...Jimmy Carter wrapped up the 2002 season point championship at Skagit Speedway by winning the 410 Sprint Car feature event last Saturday evening. Carter drove the Rudeen Racing WESMAR-equipped sprinter to his seventh feature win of the 2002 season at the Washington track to earn his second career point championship. Carter also was Skagit's champion in 1998.
