Spring 2004: ...BF finished eighth in the feature driving Don and Linda O'Keefe's midget at the BCRA races at Placerville last week. BF said he loved racing with Floyd Alvis, and cannot wait for another shot at it.

Bill Foland, BF, will take to the Placerville red clay this Saturday aboard Don O'Keefe's potent BCRA midget. "BF" raced at P-Ville last year in a midget and is looking forward to the opportunity. O'Keefe is a second generation racing fixture in Northern California. He has fielded sprint cars and midgets for as long as we can remember based out of his bay area, Union City, shop.

...HammerDownUSA.com's B.F. will be taking to the Placerville Speedway red clay this Saturday. The son of legendary midget driver Burt Foland will drive the Blackwell Stealth at the BCRA event on the high-banked quarter mile.

... Bill Foland, our buddy and HammerDown! writer, had agreat time in his dirt midget driving debut. Bill tackled the Fernley Neveada 3/8's in BCRA action. "BF" made the feature, and raced into the top three before taking a hit from another car, and knocking the rear axle out of the Cliff Blackwell ride. ...BF, Bill Foland will be making his dirt midget driving debut at Fernly Nevada this Saturday. Following in his father's footsteps, Bill will try the little cars. His chariot will be Cliff Blackwell's Stealth/Gearte Ford. Good luck BF!

...HammerDownUSA columnist, BF, Bill Foland has a new racer! BF's dad, Burt Foland, a California racing legend, has purchased a BEAST pavement sprint car for BF to wheel in USAC Western States Sprint car action. The car is described by BF as a "chariot" (that's good) from the stable of Flynn Racing. The car will be #78, in honor of Burt's first super modified ride.
