Shane Stewart shines in second Knoxville Nationals prelim - HD Staff - August 12, 2005 - Knoxville, IA. ...Shane Stewart from Bixby, Oklahoma won the 25-lap second Knoxville Nationals preliminary feature event Friday night at Knoxville Raceway. After rain canceled Thursday's winged sprint car racing, all second night teams were given a clean slate. Unofficially, Danny Lasoski emerged as the high point man overall heading into the pole scramble which is scheduled to follow the C, and B scrambles at noon Saturday. Brooke Tatnell finished second in the preliminary feature Friday followed by Lasoski, Billy Alley, and Daryn Pittman. Pittman scored his second consecutive World Challenge win to conclude Friday night action. He withheld a late challenge from Donny Schatz.

Shane Stewart Takes Dirt Cup - HD Staff - Alger, WA. 06/19/04 - ...Bixby Oklahoma's Shane Stewart swooped into Washington and stole the Dirt Cup, taking home $20,000 after winning the 40-lap feature Saturday night. (More)

Shane Stewart Earns Hard Fought Victory - By Jean Lynch - Tampa, FL. 1/29/04. ...It was a back and forth battle for the lead Thursday night in the second preliminary feature of the 6th Annual King of 360’s Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park. In the closing laps of the 25-lap A-Main, Shane Stewart, driving the ‘MIN’ Motorsports sponsored no. 4m one-year old Maxim powered by a WesMar on Hoosier tires and Penske shocks, made a groove just inches from the outside wall work for him to hold off hard-charging Terry McCarl and capture his first win-ever at East Bay worth $1,500. “I owe this one to my crew, Rob and Cathy Hart, who have been with me for two years. I’m just sorry my car owner, Scott Chillcut, couldn’t be here for this win.” Stewart said after the hard-fought race. Starting outside the front row, he grabbed the lead immediately and held on through the first yellow for a spin by Danny Martin after one lap. (read more)

Shane Stewart of Bixby, Oklahoma, has earned the second annual Auto Trader Southern Iowa SprintWeek point championship, worth $2,500 cash, and the "Mr. Sprint Car" title. Stewart, who started the week with a win in the 410-cubic-inch winged sprint car feature at Knoxville Raceway on August 9, placed seventh in Saturday's Ford Dealers of Iowa Knoxville Nationals "A" Main, and wound up the week with a record 238 points. In addtion to the trophy presented to the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) regular Stewart by Auto Trader Magazines general manager Jeff Richards, other trophies were awarded to mIn Motorsports car owner Scott Chilcutt, chief mechanic Rob Hart, and mechanics David Sharman and Cathy Barrows. The Auto Trader Southern Iowa SprintWeek, August 9-16, consisted of eight consecutive nights of 360 c.i., 410 c.i., and non-winged sprint car racing hosted by the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa and the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville. Shane Stewart Gets All-Star Loot ...9/21/02 By Scott Hall MERCER, PA - Once he got out front, it was all Shane Stewart Saturday night at Mercer Raceway Park in the sixth annual All Star sprint Chuck Marsh Memorial 40 lap feature. The Bixby, OK driver earned $5,000 for his second series win in Junior Holbrook's Eagle chassis on Hoosier Tires. His win came over Dale Blaney and a brakeless Jeff Shepard. (read the whole deal)
