Team MemberHodnett handles All-Stars at Lincoln - By Scott Hall - Abbottstown, PA. - June 11, 2005 - Greg Hodnett picked a good time to claim his first 2005 Lincoln win, as he and the rest of the Pennsylvania Posse put away the invaders in Saturday's All-Star Circuit of Champions 30-lap $5,000-to-win "A Main." Time trials placed Hodnett third for the start. He followed front row starters Eric Stambaugh and polesitter Dale Blaney for the first three laps before a caution flag flew for Jason Johnson and Josh Wells on turn four. He got around Blaney for second on turns three and four of the restart, and then, after two more cautions, pulled the slider in turns three and four to grab the lead from Stambaugh on lap eight. ...Greg Hodnett is hot! The pro's pro came from 10th starting spot at Williams Grove Speedway's Early Bird Championship, earning $6,000 for the Bob Stewart-owned, Lee Stauffer-prepped Apple Dealers MAXIM team. Bill Woodside reminds us that Hodnett and Stauffer have won five of the six features staged at the Grove in 2004.
2004: ...Greg Hodnett continued his early season domination of Williams Grove Speedway, winning for the second week in a row on the daylight surface. Hodnett steered the Lee Stauffer-prepped, Bob Stewart-owned Apple MAXIM to his second consecutive $3,000 win Sunday.

Hodnett Wins Gumout Race at Williams Grove MECHANICSBURG, PA (August 23) – Greg Hodnett, who beat the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series’ best in the Cleveland Brothers Summer Nationals July 27th, won the World of Outlaws Gumout Series race at Williams Grove Speedway Friday. Hodnett, took the lead from Gumout Series points leader Tyler Walker during the 15th lap and led the second half of the race for the victory. Lance Dewease finished in second place, ahead of Cris Eash, Don Kreitz, Jr., Keith Kauffman, Brian Paulus, Sean Michael, Mark Smith, Jason Sides and Len Thompson. (summary)

Greg Hodnett piloted the Lee Stauffer-wrenched, Bob Stewart-owned entry to Big Diamond and Selinsgrove Speedway sweeps of fast time, heat race and feature wins to earn $500 for each Hank's Perfect Performance. Hodnett's perfect performance propelled his team to the Pennsylvania Speed Week point title.
Summer 2002: Hodnett opened Pennsylvania Speed Week at Lincoln Speedway, winning the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial. Driving the Apple Chevrolet MAXIM, Hodnett's ninth win of 2002 was accomplished leading flag to flag in the 30 lap event, his fourth of the season at Lincoln. "This was a stellar field of cars," said Hodnett. "I keep saying that our fans just don't know how well you have it here (in Pennsylvania). These guys are the best in the business, and it's very much a privilege to be standing here. This win means a lot to our team. The Gobrecht family has been very kind to me personally and to my team. Kevin was a big part of this team, and a big part of everyone's lives here."
Hodnett Wins Summer Nationals for Pennsylvania Posse By Richard Day MECHANICSBURG, PA (July 27) – Greg Hodnett and crew chief Lee Stauffer weren’t happy Saturday when their sixth-place finish in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Dash left their #12 Apple Motorsports Maxim starting outside the third row in the main event of the Cleveland Brothers Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway. They definitely made amends in the “A” Feature, however, as Hodnett passed Joey Saldana with 1 2/3 laps remaining on his way to claiming the $20,000 first prize to the delight of the partisan, standing-room-only crowd. Hodnett Completes Sweep of Outlaws Showdown By Richard Day CONCORD, NC (May 25) - Greg Hodnett became the first non-regular to sweep a Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series double-feature event in 5 ½ years Saturday when he won the XM Satellite Radio Outlaws Showdown at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Hodnett, the series' Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award winner in 1993, passed Jac Haudenschild in dense lapped traffic with 4 2/3 laps remaining to complete the first double-feature sweep of his career. Hodnett is the 11th driver to win a Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series main event this season. (story and summary)
